Almost everyone runs into hard times every once in awhile. Trying to find help when you are already frustrated and stressed out can be a nightmare. If you are currently in this situation, these three types of assistance are your safest bet,

Government Help

Many don’t know that the government provides financial assistance like loans and grants. You can find information on financial help treasury.gov,usa.gov, or makinghomeaffordable.gov. They offer help with mortgage, bills, and more.

Nonprofits

There are nonprofits for almost anything you can think of. Some, like Needy Meds and Catholic Charities will offer financial assistance for certain situations. Doing a search for charities that help with your specific situation will more than likely yield at least a few results.

Loans

Taking out a loan should be your last resort, and you should especially avoid it if you are not sure you will have the money to pay it back. If you do decide to get a loan, it’s best to shop for the best rates with websites like Lending Tree and E-Loan.

Don’t suffer in silence if you are having money troubles. Giving up is the worst thing you can do.
